Role Description

We’re looking for an exceptional, results oriented technical project manager that will be responsible for technical aspects of Nova’s portfolio in the Korean region. The Technical Project Manager will work with key stakeholders both within the region and the product divisions to help ensure Nova has a winning and differentiated portfolio of metrology solutions for the Korean market and for specific customers in the region. The role will be a focal point for technical aspects between the account teams and product divisions to guide our penetration activities at our customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Product Division to help define and develop a general understanding of semiconductor technology trends and activities targeted for the local market and key customers.
This responsibility includes:
- Market study and analysis of requirements through direct engagement with the region’s customers and business partners
- Support Beta and Eval programs with early-stage products and samples
- Manage technical issues for external stakeholders (customers)
- Actively gather competitive intelligence, customer technology trends and market drivers, regularly communicating this intelligence to key stakeholders within the company
- Extensive engagement with the customers and the account teams in managing the strategic penetration activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of leading product and/or technical leading in global high-tech companies.
- Ph.D./MA in Electronics/Material Engineering or Physics – Experience of optical dimensional products including OCD & Thin Film experience preferred, especially for those who have experience in finding solutions through communication with HQ in case of tool issues
- In-depth knowledge in semiconductor process, process control and technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with English and Korean. Persuasive powers, ability to lead, motivate and drive cross functional multi-cultural team
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal and technical)
- Self-starter with analytical and execution skills
- Big picture oriented, analytical and pragmatic thinking
