Role Description

Nova seeks a SW QA Engineer to join our agile SW development team.

Handling manual SW QA for multi-disciplinary systems, participating in development and release stages, conducting tests abroad, developing testing strategies, and investigating failures to ensure quality, and working in Agile scrum.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

  • Become an active member in Agile team as QA engineer.
  • Be involved in all stages of SW development and release, including conduct Beta tests at customers sites (Abroad).
  • Develop QA expertise on Nova system to be able to identify risks in SW development.
  • Define and plan testing strategy for Nova SW.
  • Document high level and detailed test plans.
  • Perform test that will prove the SW qualifications.
  • Define and maintain regression tests.
  • Plan and execute Beta tests activities (on customer sites).
  • Investigate failures and define corrective actions.

Requirements

  • An academic degree in engineering or exact sciences (BSc.) 
  •  3 years of experience as manual QA Engineer in agile environment – must
  • Wide experience in creating manual tests and execution.
  • Experience in testing on multidisciplinary systems – preferred in semiconductor industry
  • Experience in client / server testing - advantage
  • Understanding in multidisciplinary systems, and ability to investigate within the system components
  • Fluency in writing and speaking English
  • Ability to travel abroad for beta sites.
